Noah, our honey bear, is a “šarplaninac” resident in a compact form, and he has been unfairly sentenced to spend his young life in a shelter. Unlike other dogs, he doesn’t bare his teeth or bark at imaginary foes beyond the fence. He avoids conflicts with other dogs and refrains from digging holes. Instead, he simply enjoys being around people. As days and nights pass, life slips through his paws while he patiently waits. If only I could convey the kindness and tenderness of his soul, the softness of his fur, and the warmth of his gaze. If people truly knew, Noah wouldn’t still be waiting. Instead, they’d be lining up to make him their best friend, their solace, and their comfort. (Noah, in Hebrew, means consolation.) N
oah came to the shelter in October 2022 at just two months old. Based on his behavior, he seems to be easily adaptable. The video captures his first outing since arriving at the shelter, and he appeared quite relaxed, walking easily on a leash as if he were going to school.
Now that you’ve learned about Noah, you’ll undoubtedly want to know more, especially about how to make him a part of your life. Please reach out to us. Share his story.
