Rija has changed quite a few locations in the shelter, not because she’s not golden, but because she’s too golden. Those were turbulent situations for her and she finally found her place in the second shelter yard, in the first box next to the entrance. There he readily welcomes us with his dance performances, tail wagging and smiles. Rija belongs to the category of misfits, dogs that are solo players and are only interested in our (human) species -to come to her yard and pay attention to her. She knows how to play with other dogs, she knows how to bark at those over the fence (purely to show that she is part of her pack), but basically, she is only interested in people. More precisely, she is interested in that one to whom she will give her big heart.
