Skinny

It’s always sad to write posts about dogs waiting to be adopted, but writing about some of them just breaks your heart. Just as we are different, so some of us are withdrawn and insecure, while others are resourceful and like the crowds and company of others, it is same with dogs. Skinny is in a group of those maladapted who can’t find their place in the shelter and who aren’t happy there. It is sad to watch this beautiful young female as her best years go to waste. She started life as a cheerful, playful and energetic puppy, one of six of them from the group. Every day her rejoicing in life became less and less. We see more and more sadness in her eyes every day. Life in the shelter has left a mark on her relationship with other dogs, so she has become insecure about herself and is mostly looking for a safe corner where she will dream her dreams. But, her trust and desire to be in human society has not diminished, she still happily comes to those she knows and asks for a gentle touch and a warm word. It is high time for this wonderful soul to be saved and for us to bring joy back into her life. Adopt Skinny!
