Miša came to the shelter as a puppy – the tiniest of nine siblings. She was the most frightened then, and she still greets strangers with caution. Maybe it was the chill of that February morning she was born, or how the world seemed far too big and terrifying. Or maybe she somehow knew she would grow up without the warmth of a family, taken from her mother far too soon.
But don’t get the wrong idea – there is room in her heart for love, for joy, for play. When she feels safe, she becomes a gentle, curious soul, full of warmth and ready to give her trust.
