About Car

The dog you see in the video below is Car, a three-and-a-half-year-old canine who embodies both goodness and intelligence. Believe it or not, he has never left the shelter, nor walked on a leash. What more needs to be said about him? His potential lies in your hands—or more precisely, in your heart.

Let me share a few additional details about Car. He arrived at the shelter as a three-month-old pup and grew up surrounded by dominant males. Despite this, he managed to maintain his own identity; he never sought conflict but knew how to defend himself when necessary. However, in recent months, he has faced increasing aggression from a group of dogs ganging up against him, causing him to retreat into himself. Following the latest incident, we had to relocate him to a safer area within the shelter’s central part. Remarkably, he adjusted quickly, paying little heed to his new companions, and they, in turn, seem to ignore him. Instead, his gaze wanders beyond the fence – either at his old yard and former “buddies”, or on the other side, towards the road…

Car awaits a family and a home of his own. If you feel drawn to him, please reach out to us. Share his story, and help Car experience the love and warmth that awaits him on the other side of the shelter fence.
