So, let’s clarify things. The dog you see in the video is the incredible and super-smart Car, and this is his very first walk on a leash, outside the shelter. Do we really need to say anything more about him? What he can become is in your hands—or rather, in your heart.
He arrived at the shelter as a three-month-old puppy and grew up among dominant males. Somehow, he managed to hold on to his own personality—never the one to start a fight, but always ready to stand his ground if needed. However, a small group of dogs started ganging up on him, and the attacks became more frequent. Car began losing the battle and started retreating to his kennel. After the last incident, we had to move him and find a place for him in the central part of the shelter. He adapted quickly, doesn’t pay much attention to his new neighbors, and they don’t seem to mind him either. Most of the time, he just stares through the fence—either at his old yard and former “friends” or toward the other side, the road…
Car would really love to leave the shelter. If you believe he’s meant to be part of your family, send us a message.
